Driving to De Mole River Retreat

The only way to reach us is by car. 4WD vehicles are recommended (especially in winter) although any vehicle with reasonable ground clearance should be able to make it, weather permitting.

It is approximately a 2 hour drive from Penneshaw, and a 1.5 hour drive from Kingscote. We are very much off the beaten track and without following instructions exactly it is possible to get lost. We suggest guests take this into consideration when planning their time of arrival!

Due to the remoteness of the property it is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED not to drive at night. This is for your own safety due to the wildlife at night and the unsealed and bumpy roads.

Directions: On confirmation we will send you detailed directions of how to reach Gaia.
